Sales Associate

SUMMARY: Seeking highly motivated Sales Associate based in Kennewick, WA. The Sales Associate maximizes sales profits and increases market share within a designated territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Creates sales within a defined territory by promoting products and services.

  • Develops and maintains territory customer database as well as competitive database.

  • Attends trade shows as necessary to demonstrate UniWest equipment and meet with potential and current customers.

  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.

  • Coordinates quotes & credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

  • Work with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.

  • Provides input to Sales, Marketing and others as requested by management.

  • Provides necessary and appropriate after-sale service to customer base including installation assistance. Trains on use and operation of equipment. Troubleshoots problems.

  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports in weekly and monthly reports, and on an annual basis.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing company sales goals & directives.


Education/Experience
 

  • Two-year college or university program certificate and one to
    two years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and
    experience.

  • Language Skills- Have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports and business correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.

  • Mathematical Skills- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

SUMMARY: Seeking highly motivated individuals with good work ethic, fine motor skills, and good hand/eye coordination. Responsible for building cable assemblies and wire harnessing, and assembling electrical equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Soldering and using hand tools

  • Assemble materials

  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports

  • Clean parts thoroughly

  • Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits

  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment.

  • Tag components

  • Adjust or repair electrical equipment

  • Correct defects

  • Test product to ensure conformance to specifications

  • Build products such as electric motors, cabling, electronic control devices, and sensing equipment

  • Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies

  • Test functional performance


Education/Experience
 

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Will need to have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods of time.

Sensors Assembler

SUMMARY: Seeking highly motivated individuals with good work ethic, fine motor skills, and good hand/eye coordination. Qualified candidates must have ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions. Use of microscope required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Soldering fine wire and small electronic assembly.

  • Performs intermediate assembly task, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, and color coding parts, and assembling.

  • Tends machines that press, shape, or wind component parts.

  • Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.

  • Performs online Go/No Go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.


Education/Experience
 

  • High School or GED Equivalent.  Electronic manufacturing background is helpful but not necessary.  In-house training provided.
